Originally from a small town in south Georgia, I am the author of The Blackout Gang (Razorbill, 2006) and have had my fiction and nonfiction published in Story Collider Magazine, the Surreal South '09 and '11 anthologies, Southern Humanities Review, Florida Review, New Plains Review, Southeast Review Online, and the Dallas Morning News.
